In recognition of Hunger Action Month this September, our offices united in a shared commitment to address food insecurity and support those in need.

Teams across the London, Charlotte, New York and Washington, D.C. offices took part in hands-on volunteer efforts aimed at making a tangible difference in our local communities and raising awareness about food insecurity.

From preparing sandwiches for hunger relief organizations and shelters to assembling hygiene kits for those experiencing hardship to creating treat packages for young children, our people showed compassion in action, bringing moments of joy to those who need it most.

This fall, our D.C. office had the pleasure of welcoming a group of bright and enthusiastic students from HD Woodson High School. During their visit, the students heard from several of our attorneys and business professionals about the many paths that lead to a career in law and the important work we do every day. They enjoyed a tour of the office, engaging Q&A sessions, and lunch with members of our team. We’re proud to share that by the end of the visit, we may have inspired a few future lawyers among them!

 

A Cadwalader team once again led the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s event in Charlotte. Thanks to the generosity of our community, Cadwalader was second overall in corporate fundraising, and has now raised over $540,000 in the fight against Alzheimer’s in annual walks since 2012.

We were thrilled to welcome an array of talented local small businesses to the firm for our Annual Holiday Market in our New York office. Attendees got to browse everything from handmade crafts, candles and jewelry to specialty teas, small-batch spirits and other festive gifts.
