Earlier this month, our Charlotte office partnered with Honeywell and Legal Aid of North Carolina to host another Lawyer-on-the-Line event at our offices. This initiative is part of the Charlotte Triage Pro Bono Project, which is currently in its seventh year. The Triage Project brings together attorneys and leaders from corporations, law firms, legal aid groups and other public interest organizations to address the critical legal needs of Charlottes most vulnerable residents.

At the event, volunteers teamed up to provide legal advice to clients with landlord-tenant repair issues over the phone and followed up with a written advice letter. Attorneys and staff from Legal Aid of North Carolina were on site to answer questions and provide guidance as needed.
