COVID-19: Our Commitment to You

A message from Managing Partner Patrick T. Quinn

On behalf of Cadwalader, I want to reach out to let you know how we are responding to the current environment. Our foremost priority is ensuring the health and well-being of our employees, their families and the rest of the Cadwalader family.

With all lawyers and staff in all of our offices working from home, we are fully capable of meeting our clients’ needs. Our business continuity programs, tested and strengthened in preparation for times such as these, are fully functional and allow us to continue our important work for clients throughout this disruption to our normal daily operations.

We want you to know that:

  • We are ready and able to support you. Our lawyers and staff have the technological and other resources to allow them to work remotely from anywhere in the world to provide you with the secure, trusted service and support that has always been a hallmark of our Firm. Our stress-tested systems are ready for the challenges that will arise in the wake of COVID-19, including video conferencing and the use of a variety of other collaborative tools. Most important, we have full confidence in the safety and security of your most closely held information.
  • We are here to help. We have and continue to put our best minds together to think about the business and personal challenges that you face. Our Firm has weathered adversity alongside our clients throughout our 228-year history, and we pride ourselves on the privilege of providing world-class service to you under challenging circumstances. While this situation is truly unprecedented, we are here to help you navigate it.
  • We can provide assistance in support of your remote working arrangements. We know that, as many of our clients face the challenge of working remotely, access to legal source materials can be a particular challenge for lawyers and compliance professionals. Therefore, for the duration of the crisis, we are offering all clients no-charge access to the Cadwalader Cabinet, the Firm’s curated online repository of U.S. legal and financial regulatory materials, including statutes, regulations, interpretations, news, regulatory updates and legal analysis. You and your colleagues need only contact with your name and email address and we will send a log-in password and basic information on how to use the site.
  • We are committed to making a real difference. We know that our employees and our clients will ultimately remember us by the way we stood by them and overcame adversity together in these uncertain times, especially in our genuine care for the well-being of one another. We are prepared to rise to the occasion.

We will continue to do all that we can to anticipate the challenges that our clients, friends and loved ones will face in the time to come, and are fully confident in our ability to continue to serve you. I encourage you to contact me or any of your team at Cadwalader with questions or concerns.

Most of all, I and the Cadwalader family wish you and your loved ones continued good health.
