Andrew J. Forman
Andrew Forman’s practice involves counseling clients in a wide range of antitrust matters, with a specific focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and representing clients in connection with investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Andy also has experience in private antitrust litigation, including antitrust class action litigation. He has represented clients in matters involving a wide variety of industries, including software, pharmaceutical, airline, automobile, semiconductor, industrial and engineered products, and consumer products.
Prior to joining Cadwalader from another law firm, Andy worked for the FTC’s Bureau of Competition, where he investigated large mergers and acquisitions in the pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer products, defense, aircraft components, and industrial products industries.
Andy received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University and his undergraduate degree, as an Honors Graduate, from Washington University in St. Louis. He is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
