Jonathan Bailyn is an associate in Cadwalader's Washington, D.C. office. A member of the White Collar Defense and Investigations Group, Jonathan advises clients in criminal, regulatory, and compliance matters, as well as in proceedings before both state and federal courts.
Jonathan received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as the Editor in Chief of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy, and his B.A., cum laude, from Amherst College. During law school, Jonathan interned with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit and the Financial Institutions and Public Sector Fraud Unit in the U.S. Department of Justice Criminal Division.
Before joining Cadwalader, Jonathan served for two years as a law clerk to the Honorable Daniel T.K. Hurley of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Jonathan is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, and is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and the District of Columbia.
