Jack Fritts is senior counsel in Cadwalader's New York office. He handles corporate, securities and commercial law issues for numerous companies, including establishment, management, financing, growth and restructuring. He is involved in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of complex transactions, including public and private financings, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and start-ups, both nationally and globally. Jack joined the firm in 1959, and became a partner in 1968. 

In the past, Jack has handled the creation of a new media company, bought, sold and financed a number of companies and large quantities of gold, silver and other commodities, and represented the issuer in several IPOs. He represented the government of Paraguay in the privatization of Yacyreta and the Argentine government in the privatization of Argentina's airports. He also represented Greek shipping interests in rescuing a public Swedish shipping company from a hostile takeover attempt. 

Jack earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his law degree from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
