Jessica is a special counsel in Cadwalader’s Real Estate Group. Her practice is  concentrated in the area of real estate finance. She represents global investment banks, financial institutions and other institutional lenders, developers and borrowers in domestic and cross-border finance originations of both syndicated and securitized mortgage, mezzanine and equity financing of real estate assets, including acquisition, construction, bridge and permanent loans, loan sales and acquisitions, and restructuring transactions.

Jessica’s experience includes the financing of a wide range of commercial properties,  including hotels, casinos, shopping centers, office buildings, department stores, warehouse and industrial parks and senior housing properties that range from single, trophy assets to multi-asset and multi-state portfolio transactions. Her experience includes the secondary market sales of mortgage and mezzanine loans, and the drafting and negotiation of intercreditor agreements, participation agreements and co-lender agreements.

In addition, Jessica has advised clients on loan restructurings and workout transactions with respect to construction and permanent mortgage loans and mezzanine loans. This expertise includes the drafting and negotiation of pre-negotiation letters, forbearance agreements, loan modifications and settlement agreements providing for the transfer of real property pursuant to a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure, and dispositions of properties acquired in workouts and foreclosures. She also has experience representing both purchasers and sellers in connection with the acquisition and disposition of real estate loans.

She is the chair of Cadwalader’s Asian Pacific American Attorney Resource Group (CAPAA) and served as the firm's 2013 Fellow for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellows Program. She is also a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association of New York.

Jessica received her bachelor's degree in government from Georgetown University and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School, cum laude. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
