Janaki Tampi is an associate in the Litigation Group based in London.

Janaki specialises in commercial dispute resolution, and has international experience in arbitration, negotiation, court litigation and mediation. She advises clients on a diverse range of domestic and international disputes involving investment banking, joint ventures, construction, public-private partnerships, competition and employment law.

Janaki has advised clients on anti-corruption and competition compliance measures. She has worked with several investment banks to identify potential compliance breaches and plan and conduct internal investigations.

Janaki completed an LL.M at the University of Cambridge, where she received an international law designation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts, with honours, from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Laws, with honours, from the University of Western Australia. Prior to completing her LL.M, Janaki was a law clerk to the Hon. Justice Pullin JA in the Court of Appeal in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.  

Prior to joining Cadwalader, Janaki was a member of Herbert Smith Freehills’ dispute resolution teams in Sydney, Bangkok and London for over six years. She has also completed a secondment at a leading investment bank in London.
