Deirdre Long Absolonne handles trademark matters for clients across industries, including financial services, medical devices, consumer products, and technology products and services.
Deirdre also represents not-for-profit religious and charitable organizations, health care and educational institutions, foundations and other tax-exempt entities, advising on a broad range of legal and practical issues. She has significant experience in intellectual property matters, including trademark registrations, copyright issues, trademark licensing and the enforcement of trademark rights, particularly enforcement challenges and licensing opportunities that arise from famous marks. Deirdre also counsels clients with respect to Internet legal issues, domain names and technology-related transactions.
Deirdre received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and an A.B., cum laude, from Harvard University. She is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Connecticut.
