Robert Davis focuses on the tax and ERISA aspects of financial products. He advises investment banks, plan fiduciaries, governmental agencies, and other clients regarding tax and ERISA issues with respect to various structured finance and capital markets products. In addition, he has counseled numerous nonprofit organizations in various matters regarding corporate governance, compliance with lobbying rules, and compliance with other federal and state regulations.

Mr. Davis earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University. Prior to becoming an attorney, he had an extensive career as a musician. He earned his bachelors degree in music education, summa cum laude, from Temple University and his masters degree in liturgical music from the Catholic University of America. He has also done graduate work in the field of historical musicology.
