European Parliament Sticks With Higher ABS Retention Proposals

- David Quirolo comments in Bloomberg News about the European Parliament’s ECON Committee proposal to hike risk-retention levels for securitizations. Quirolo added that the latest texts still include various other amendments proposed by ECON that would prove problematic for the market, including the proposal an originator of a securitization be a regulated entity.
