Cadwalader Advises Deutsche Bank on Award-Winning CLO Transaction

April 22, 2015

Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, a leading counselor to global financial institutions and corporations, announced that firm client Deutsche Bank has been recognized for its work in the Ares XXX CLO, which was named “CLO of the Year” at the 4th Annual Investors' Conference on CLOs and Leveraged Loans Conference in New York City.

Cadwalader represented Deutsche Bank as initial purchaser in the $361 million transaction, the first ever “short duration” CLO with limited reinvestment provisions. The innovative deal reflected increased interest in shorter non-call and reinvestment periods in the broadly syndicated CLO market. The Cadwalader team included Joseph Beach, Andrew Croshaw and Danielle Katz.

“It is a privilege to work with exceptional, innovative clients like Deutsche Bank,” said Joseph Beach. “We look forward to maintaining our close relationship with them, and providing the highest levels of technical insight and professional service.”
