Email In its referendum held on 23 June 2016, the UK voted to leave the European Union (“Brexit”). On the following day, David Cameron announced that he will resign as Prime Minister on the election of a new Conservative Party leader and that such leader should be elected prior to the Conservative Party annual conference which starts on 2 October 2016.
